Formed in 1984, ARC went on to become the UK's largest independent relocation company, helping thousands of employees of corporate companies and government departments move home.

With offices in London, Newbury, Manchester and Edinburgh we were able to offer a unique level of service that attracted clients such as Mobil, Whitbread, Tesco, Standard Life, Smithkline Beecham and the Civil Aviation Authority.

Due to our success and experience gained within the UK property market, further companies related to the housing industry were added to the group.

For example, In 1989 ARC set up an Asset Management division to handle the large volumes of properties that had been repossessed by some of their Building Society and Banking clients including Woolwich, Citibank, Mortgage Express, Britannia, TSB and HSBC.

In 1997 ARC Real Estates was formed to manage our Part Exchange Purchase Scheme (PEPS) which enables House Builders to offer a part exchange facility on their developments to improve their cash flow and unlock some of their capital in the process.

Our successful relocation business was sold in 1999. However, we retained our Homematch department, which remains the market leader in the provision of Mortgage Disparity Reports to the Relocation Industry. These reports provide a relocating employee with an analysis of how much their property would be worth in a comparable location nearer to their new workplace.
